A common misconception about the Hajj application process is that every applicant must personally handle their submission through Nusuk. While it’s true that all Hajj applications must be processed via Nusuk, others can assist with the process on your behalf, including:
- Family members or friends
- Experts, such as the Labayk Hajj team, who can manage the entire application process from start to finish.
This support ensures a smooth, stress-free experience for you—and the service is completely free of charge.

The success of a Hajj application depends entirely on accurate processing within the Nusuk system, regardless of who submits, manages, or pays for it. Labayk Hajj encourages all applicants to create and manage their applications directly through the official platform at www.hajj.nusuk.sa.

1. E-services: Registration on Nusuk Process:
Access to Nusuk platform for managing bookings and keeping track of the pilgrimage status.
Registration involves several stages:
- Create an account.
- After completion your account will be sent for verification, this may take some time.
- An e-wallet will be set up for your payments, after the verification.
- Making a Successful Payment of Hajj Packages (Please click here)
- Browse packages, select your preferred one, and transfer funds into the e-wallet.
- Secure your package as soon as sales open (first come, first served).
2. Assistance with Nusuk:
If you have already created a Nusuk account but need assistance or you want make sure you are in the right track, please fill out the Nusuk Assistance & Support Form provided by Labaykhajj.
3. Documentation
Use your Canadian passport for registration, as Nusuk is designed for Western passport holders and applicants with residence in Western countries such as Canada, who can be permanent residents or have work visas, and applicants who own a house or apartment in Canada. However, their verification may take longer time. For passport photo its must be 800x400px max with 2GB.
Before proceeding to Registration Form read this carefully before uploading Your Passport and picture Scan Copy, to ensure the scan of your passport and picture are acceptable by the Hajj NUSUK System please, strictly follow these guidelines:
A. Passport Upload: Upload Passport Scan Copy of the biometrics page of the passport Acceptable format PNG or JPG Dimensions: maximum of 800×400 pixels, file size: up to 1 MB.
- Ensure use of a flatbed scanner, refrain from camera/cellphone use
- Proper and clear scan of the biometric/information page in the passport
- ONLY the biometric page must be scanned (page 2, in Canadian passport)
- Signature page should NOT be included (page 3, in Canadian Passport)
- The page must capture all 4 corners of the information page
- No glossy spots or blurry on the page

B. C. Proof of residence for non-Canadian: You must upload your Residence Permit, if you do not have one then you may upload employment contract, driver’s license, lease agreement, property ownership document, work visa, or a contract bank statement. Acceptable format PNG or JPG Dimensions: maximum of 800×400 pixels, file size: up to 1 MB.

5. Inclusions in the Hajj Package
The Hajj package typically includes the following comprehensive services:
A. Accommodations:
Stays in Makkah and Madinah. Temporary accommodation(tent) in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah during Hajj days.
B. Camps in Mina:
- Majar Al-Kabsh Camp: This camp in Mina is characterized by its proximity to the Jamarat Bridge, positioned just 300 to 700 meters away. This advantageous location facilitates the ritual of Pelting Jamarat, allowing pilgrims to perform the ritual with ease and convenience. With a capacity to accommodate around 5,000 pilgrims, this camp promises the highest level of service, ensuring a comfortable and meaningful stay in Mina. With this camp pilgrims have the leverage of using The Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Line.
- Al-Muaisim Camp: This camp in Mina, located approximately 4 km from the Jamarat Bridge, offers a distinct atmosphere with all the necessary comforts to ensure pilgrims have a convenient stay. This camp can accommodate up to 30,000 pilgrims, providing a well-equipped environment for a fulfilling Hajj experience. With this camp, pilgrims have the leverage of using the air-conditioned VIP buses.
C. Transportation:
Local transportation in Saudi Arabia (buses or shuttles) or train.
D. International flights:
Usually included in the package pricing, but confirm with the provider. From Canada this year Ithraa Alkhair will use the following airlines: Saudi Airlines from Toronto, Jordanian Airlines & Emirates from Montreal, and Turkish Airlines from Vancouver.
E. Food Services:
Meals are provided at the hotel in Makkah and Madinah, also during the pilgrimage days, including while staying in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
F. Religious Guidance:
Qualified guides and Imams will be available to assist with the rituals and provide spiritual support throughout the journey.
H. Logistics Support:
Hajj Visa and airfare ticket
Assistance with logistics steps during the hajj days such as providing information about transportation and movements.
I. Group management services:
for smooth coordination during the pilgrimage that will be linked to your assigned Imam/Mursheed.
Usually, Labaykhajj will create a WhatsApp chatgroup for each package, so that all members are informed about the group activities.
J. Additional Notes:
- Be sure to check your package details, and to adhere to Saudi Arabian policy and regulations.
- Stay with your group and stay connected to your group leader.
- The exact services and luxury levels will vary depending on whether the package is Standard, Premium, or Luxury.
6. Hajj Package Details & Pricing:
- The exact price for Hajj packages, hasn’t been confirmed. Prices will be shown on Nusuk per person.
- Packages range estimated from $14,500 to $24,000 Cad, depending on the type (luxury, premium, or standard) and additional services (shifting or non-shifting).
- Prices will include Saudi tax but no Canadian tax, as the service is provided in Saudi Arabia.
7. Types of Hotel Rooms During Hajj
- Double Room: Ideal for couples or two occupants.
- Triple Room: Designed for three occupants.
- Quad Room: Suitable for four occupants.
Note: Mixed-gender sharing is only permitted if you are a family. Otherwise, rooms will be occupied by individuals of the same gender.
8. Staying Together as family or friend
To ensure you and your companion stay together, create an account on Nusuk and add your companion as a family member (up to 8 members). This will link all of you under the same package.
9. Understanding Shifting and Non-Shifting Hajj Packages
- Closer to Masjid Al Haram: Easy access to Masjid Al Haram while you are in Makkah
- Convenience and stability: Pilgrims stay in the same location, ensuring a stable and consistent experience throughout Hajj. There’s no need for relocation, and pilgrims can access the Haram easily.
- Comfort and consistency: The accommodation remains the same throughout the pilgrimage, offering a more predictable and comfortable experience.
Disadvantages:
- Higher cost: These packages tend to be more expensive, due to the prime location and continuous access to the Haram.
- Less flexibility: Pilgrims are not moved closer to Mina, so transport to the sites (Mina and Al Haram) on the days of Hajj can become a logistical challenge for every Pilgram.
What it involves: Pilgrims stay in two different hotels—one close to the Haram in Makkah and another near Mina for the days of the pilgrimage.
Advantages:
- Proximity to key sites: The hotels are typically closer to the sacred sites during their respective phases (near Haram for Makkah and near Mina for the pilgrimage days).
- Affordability: These packages are usually more budget-friendly, as the accommodations are flexible and sometimes seasonal.
- Flexibility in accommodation: Pilgrims may experience different types of accommodations during their stay.
Disadvantages:
- Travel hassle: Moving between hotels can be time-consuming, especially with the heavy traffic and long travel distances during Hajj. This can result in significant time lost during the day.
- Traffic and transport issues: Due to the high number of pilgrims, taxis and other forms of transport might face delays or prohibitions to travel to Haram, and costs for taxis can be high or unreliable.
- Temporary accommodation: The hotel near Mina may be a seasonal structure, not offering the same facilities or stability as permanent hotels.
- No easy access to Masjid Al Haram while you are in Mina Hotel.
Conclusion note:
- Labaykhajj advise its Pilgrams to select Non-Shifting hajj Packages, this for sure less issues & hassles.
- The transportation between sites (Mina and Al Haram) on the days of Hajj can become a logistical challenge for every Pilgram due the hajj traffic policies. Walking maybe your best way.
- Shifting packages are ideal for those on a budget who can tolerate the inconvenience of changing locations and longer travel times.
- Non-shifting packages offer greater convenience, proximity, and stability, but they come at a premium cost.

11. Hajj 2025: A Waiting Game for Pricing and Policy Updates
Labaykhajj’s current estimations for this year’s Hajj packages are based on last year’s figures. However, it’s important to note that the Ministry of Hajj and Nusuk may introduce new regulations, and hotels could adjust their prices, both of which could impact the final package costs. While we can provide a preliminary estimate to help pilgrims plan, the official pricing will be announced by the Ministry of Hajj through Nusuk once finalized.
Saudi Arabia has confirmed it will host the Hajj Conference from January 13–16, 2025, in Jeddah. This four-day event, held ahead of Hajj 2025, will also feature the Hajj Exhibition. Traditionally, this conference serves as a platform for the Ministry of Hajj to unveil key policies, regulations, and guidelines for the upcoming pilgrimage.
Until these announcements are made, we must patiently wait for further details. Rest assured, clarity will soon follow, allowing everyone to finalize their plans accordingly.

13. Hajj Types: Labaykhajj offer Hajj Tamattu:
Hajj Tamattu is one of the types of performing Hajj, and it involves a specific sequence of rituals. It is considered the most common and recommended way of performing Hajj for those who are not residing in the holy cities of Makkah
Here’s an overview of Hajj Tamattu:
- Ihram (State of Sanctity):
- The pilgrim enters into Ihram, the sacred state required for Hajj, at the Miqat (the designated boundary for Hajj).
- They declare the intention (Niyyah) to perform Hajj Tamattu and offer the Talbiyah (the prayer of Hajj: “Here I am, O Allah, here I am”).
- Umrah (Part 1 of Tamattu):
Upon arrival in Makkah, the pilgrim performs Umrah, which includes:
- Tawaf (the circumambulation of the Ka’bah).
- Sa’i (walking between the hills of Safa and Marwah).
- Tahallul (shaving or trimming the hair) to complete Umrah.
After completing the Umrah, pilgrims can exit the state of Ihram, and they can engage in normal activities like wearing regular clothes, eating, etc., until they are ready to resume the rites of Hajj.
- Hajj (Part 2 of Tamattu):
- On the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims enter Ihram again for Hajj from the place where they are staying in Makkah (e.g., their hotel).
- The pilgrim proceeds to Mina, where they spend the night on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah. (the day start after Maghreb/sunset)
- Rituals of Hajj:
- The main rituals of Hajj take place on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah at Arafat:
- Pilgrims gather at Arafat for the standing (Wuquf), where they engage in supplication and worship, asking for forgiveness and mercy from Allah.
- After Arafat, pilgrims proceed to Muzdalifah, where they spend the night.
- On the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah (Eid al-Adha), pilgrims return to Mina for the Ramy al-Jamarat Al-Aqaba(Al-Kobraa), the stoning of the pillar close to Makkah. They throw stones at the pillars, symbolizing the rejection of evil.
- Followed by Hadi/scarifies, then (shaving or trimming the hair)
- After those action Pilgram may return to Makkah to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah, the most important circumambulation of Hajj.
- Sa’i between Safa and Marwah is also repeated.
- Finally, after completing these rites, pilgrims return to Mina.
- On the 11th, 12th or 13th of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims perform another round of Ramy al-Jamarat and then return to Makkah for the final Tawaf al-Wida (the farewell Tawaf).
Key Points of Hajj Tamattu:
- Umrah and Hajj are distinct rites: In Tamattu, the pilgrim performs Umrah first and then completes the Hajj rituals later, while in Hajj Qiran or Hajj Ifrad, both are combined.
- Two separate entries into Ihram: The pilgrim enters Ihram for Umrah and then again for Hajj.
- Tamattu is ideal for international pilgrims: Since it allows the pilgrims to enjoy Makkah after completing their Umrah and before starting the Hajj rites.

Hajj Tamattu is a convenient and popular way to perform Hajj, especially for those coming from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It allows the pilgrim to first complete Umrah and then perform Hajj while taking advantage of the time in between for rest and preparation.
